Meet Peter Joshua Lawrence.

Joshua was the child who carefully organized his hockey cards into perfect stacks and arranged his trucks in straight lines - a child with a meticulous sense of detail that continued to develop long ofter the trucks had grown rusty in the sand and the hockey cards were forgotten in dust covered boxes and the back of a closet. As he matured, young Joshua discovered his father's Pentax ME film camera and with it, a realization that moments could be captured and preserved as well as experienced...

The rest, as they say, is history. Today, Joshua shoots digital. His weapon of choice? A Nikon D200 with an arsenal of pro-grade Nikkor lenses. His artillery? Strobes, speed lights, an array of light modifiers and a color calibrated work flow with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and a large format Epson R2400 printer. His arena? A 700 square foot studio.

Whether shooting products, capturing structures or immortalizing memories, his clean contemporary style is an enigmatic, unmistakable signature.

This is a man who sees the world through a view-finder. A man who's developed a personal relationship with light and shadow. A man who understands the rules and how and when to break them.
